Prayer

Connect’s work needs your prayer support.
Here is how you can pray for us:
1. Informed Prayer

We need your prayers to surround the work and planning of Connect.

Every six weeks all our Youth Workers write a “prayermail” – a newsletter that can inform and guide prayer for them and for their work.

Prayermail Archive – this allows you to access all the recent prayermails.

Prayermail sign-up – either as an individual or as a church. Then you will receive each prayermail hot off the press.

“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labour in vain” Ps.127 v.1

2. Praying Together

Could you meet with others to pray for the work of Connect and the individual youth workers?

This could be within a church or with a group of friends or even on Zoom, although around a cup of coffee works well.

“When two or three people are gathered in my name, there am I with them.” (Matt. 18v.20)

3. A Prayer Check List - to help you

This is not essential but might help you structure your praying, especially if you are praying as a group. They are a list of opportunities and challenges that sometimes face our youth workers and for which they would value prayer. You might like to download and print it off for your church notice board.

“Connect workers are invaluable in our classroom providing us with support both academically in RS lessons but also pastoral support around the school. We would highly recommend for any school to work with them!”
