It’s been missing for a while, but Connect Sunday is back. Well, it will be, on Sunday 2nd June. Connect Sunday is an exciting opportunity for Connect supporters, whoever and wherever they are, to share about Connect in their local churches, community groups, and anywhere else you can think of.

Here’s how it works. Before the day, have a chat with your church leader and ask if you can have a few minutes in the Sunday service (maybe as part of the notices, or as a mission update). Alternatively, we can provide slides to show before and after a service. Once you have a slot, all you need to do is talk about why you support Connect, perhaps share a story from the website, and ask everyone to join you in prayer for the students, staff, schools and teams. If you feel really ambitious (and the church agrees), you could even take up an offering, and invite people to join us at the Celebration in July.

(Please email Dave at cccyouth10@gmail.com if you’d like to receive a set of slides, or would like some ideas about things to share. We’d be delighted to support you.)

But what if church is too busy on the 2nd June? Well, honestly, every Sunday can be Connect Sunday – after all, we’re in schools all year round. So if your Connect Sunday ends up being on the 9th, or 16th, or turns into Connect Thursday because that’s when your coffee morning is, it’s all good.

At Connect, we’ve realised that we’re pretty good at connecting with schools, and serving their students and staff. We’ve been less good at telling everyone else about it, and we’d like to change that. If you can help us this Connect Sunday, we’d really appreciate it.
