Thank you to everyone who supported our Sponsored Walk on Saturday 24th May. Nine of us made the long trek from Eggesford Station (near Chulmleigh) all the way south to Okehampton College – including a break for lunch at North Tawton, it took us just over nine hours, via some beautiful views, shady woodland, a few very overgrown footpaths, one wrong turning (which we caught almost immediately), lots of conversations, a spot of rain, and more than a few jelly babies. We even bumped into a man preparing for his own charity walk by following the trail back to Eggesford, and were able to gift him one of our maps to help him along the way.
