There’s been all sorts happening at Okehampton College this year. We’re currently involved in mentoring, where young people are able to share the problems and difficulties they face in a supportive and encouraging environment; and we offer lesson support across a range of subjects – health and social care, beliefs and values, technology, food technology, and catering.
Excitingly, our student-led CU continues to thrive, as young people gather together to worship, pray, and discuss the hot topics of the moment. We’d really appreciate your prayers for this group, as our amazing Year 11s will be leaving the college after their summer exams – please pray that the Year 10s and 9s would step up into leadership of the group, growing in confidence and faith as they do.
You could also pray for the Okehampton team as a whole. Pray that they would continue to forge even stronger relationships with the College, students and staff; and that they would find the right opportunities to share faith as part of the school community.
