Funding For Trainees

Training:

Connect covers your training expenses for SWYM courses, however, as a trainee you would have certain financial commitments:

• ‘Be Transformed’ and ‘Academy’ courses – a registration fee payable to SWYM.
• BA (Hons) Applied Theology – Tuition fees payable to Moorlands South West.

Please go to the website for current fees as they are adjusted with inflation each year.

Eligible students on the BA with Moorlands South West can apply for the full Tuition Fee Loan from Student Finance. See www.gov.uk/student-finance for more information and to apply.

Transport:

A driving licence is almost essential when living and working in rural areas which we recognise in the support we provide. We cover essential travel by offering:

• A car for your work-related travel with all motoring costs paid.
• A mileage allowance if you drive your own car.
• Reimbursement of public transport costs.
