This year’s Connect Sunday is taking place on Sunday 9th February. Connect Sunday is an exciting opportunity for Connect supporters, whoever and wherever they are, to share about Connect in their local churches, community groups, and anywhere else you can think of.
Here’s how it works. Before the day, have a chat with your church leader and ask if you can have a few minutes in the Sunday service (maybe as part of the notices, or as a mission update). Then all you need to do is talk about why you support Connect, perhaps share a story from the website, and ask everyone to join you in prayer for the students, staff, schools and teams. If you feel really ambitious (and the church agrees), you could even take up an offering, and invite people to join us at the Celebration on Saturday 12th July.
This year, we’re putting together a short video – it’ll feature the teams from all four areas talking about what been exciting so far this year, and how people could best pray for them over the rest of the year. It’ll be available on YouTube in the near future, and we’ll link to it here as soon as it is.
There are also some events happening in Chulmleigh (Saturday 1st February) and Holsworthy (Sunday 9th February) – click here to find out more.
You can also check what your local team has been up recently by clicking on the area name:

And finally, what if church is too busy on the 9th? Well, honestly, every Sunday can be Connect Sunday – after all, we’re in schools all year round. So if your Connect Sunday ends up being on the 2nd, or 16th, or turns into Connect Thursday because that’s when your coffee morning is, it’s all good.
